We are spread all over the world but we have been working wherever we are, in what ever way we can to raise awareness for Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome. Some have asked their local mayor to declare 18th September as International Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome Awareness day, one family has had the date put up in lights! Some have had write ups in their local newspapers.
One way has been to wear t shirts created using the smiley face logo first designed by Natasja in the Netherlands for the Dutch stichting, and adapted by Nicole .Nicole created a wonderful design on the back of the t shirt using silhouettes of some of our children’s profiles !
Kasi, with help from Nicole and others has put together a slideshow of some of the families. We hope you enjoy it. It was made with a lot of care and love by families with a child with Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome!
